We identify your target audience as that will shape how you write. It may simply be you, or you may wish to share your wisdom with the wider world... who specifically are you writing to?
Then we can move to what do they want to know of your story?
We answer the important questions:
Why this message?
Why this audience?
Why is this important to you to share?
Why is it important to this audience?
Why is now the right time to get your message out there?
What's your timeline for publication?
I didn't set out to be a writer. In fact when someone offered me the prepaid opportunity to contribute to an anthology I told her "I'm a speaker, not a writer!"
Her response?
"I don't care what you call yourself... just do it!"
That told me!
I did and realised I had a lot of message to tell and one chapter would be the start of it.
I have contributed to 3 #1 international bestselling books (curated one of them), and so far had 2 solo international bestsellers.
Previous Promise2Page groups have gone on to extra months in their journey too.
Life can get in the way of writing.
Things turn up.
Life lifes!
How this group is structured is that you commit to one month at a time. If you choose to commit to 3 months, we thrown in month 4 on us!
We have a set up call when each person in the group shares the overall aim of their book and their ideal audience so we can lock in all feedback from that perspective.
Then we agree on either weekly or fortnightly calls (if fortnightly the investment is the same however the calls are longer... flexible to suit the group).
Each week/fortnight you bring a piece of work you want support on and we brainstorm both the text and where it lands/ make suggestions for improvement from your audience's perspective.
We have a group WhatsApp so you can ask questions and get peer support too between calls.
At the end of the month, if you're doing month to month, you can renew or decide to have a break.
I don't know where to get started!
My writing style may need some polishing.
I have so much to share and I'm not sure what to include or leave out.
I require support with clarifying the message of the book.
I require support to structure the contents in a way that makes sense to my reader.
This process is designed to help you tell the story you’ve carried for years...
with the support you require to bring your important message to your ideal reader.
This work is held with care, structure, and human contact.
You won’t be left alone to figure things out,
and you won’t be pushed faster than feels right.
A clearer understanding of what your audience wants to hear
Relief from carrying unspoken or half-formed stories
Greater emotional clarity and internal space
A stronger, more confident sense of your own voice
A written expression of your story that feels true to you and serves your audience
A quiet but meaningful sense of movement and release
A manuscript ready for publication... you ready to become not simply a writer, but a published author.
Small group (maximum of four)
A carefully held group where trust can develop naturally.
The group is small by design, so everyone feels seen and supported.
There is space to share... and space to stay quiet when needed.
Optional one-to-one support
For those who prefer a more private container,
or want deeper support at their own pace.
This option offers the same gentle approach,
with additional space and personal attention.
Guided and supported throughout
This is not a self-paced programme.
There are no videos to watch alone and “get on with”.
We work together, in real time,
so you are supported as things unfold.
People often ask what this work is like.
The simplest answer is that it feels human.
Gentle
Safe
Friendly
You set the pace
Supportive
Insightful without being intense
Structured without feeling rigid
Calm, with space to breathe
Grounded and reassuring
However long you opt in for, you will see real progress. If you decide to persevere, you'll have a finished manuscript ready for publication. Out of your head (the promise to yourself) and onto the page.
A story that has been expressed rather than held inside
Greater clarity about patterns that have shaped your thinking and choices
Less emotional weight around things that once felt difficult to name
A stronger, more confident sense of your own voice
More internal space to move forward differently
A written piece or manuscript that feels honest and true to you
The reassurance that your experience makes sense
Maybe even a clearer sense of self
If you’ve recognised yourself while reading this,
you don’t need to have everything worked out before taking a next step.
This work begins with a conversation...
a chance to explore whether this approach feels right for you,
and to brainstorm how you want to move forward with your message.
There’s no obligation... simply a chance to see what feels right.
